First and foremost, I am a sports fan. My earliest memories of playing sports date to when my grandmother took me to T-Ball back in Waynesboro, Va. Sports were a way of life in my tiny rural hometown. From elementary school through high school, I played baseball, basketball, football, and ran track.
Once my playing days were over, I started working in the service industry as a line and prep cook. Then I switched to the front of the house. I started as a server and then transitioned to working behind the bar. Luckily, there were always televisions. I stayed connected to the sports I enjoy. This allowed me to earn a living doing it.
I am a graduate of the University of Maryland. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. Additionally, I have a minor in Professional Writing.
Before enrolling at the University of Maryland, I earned my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. I completed it at Prince George’s Community College with a concentration in Mass Communications.
I am now a producer for MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM and WBAL NewsRadio 1090 AM/101.5 FM. I also apply my skills as a content creator for MLBbro.com, my Wizards in Seven podcast, and Maryland LIVE on The Voice of College Football network.
I love to be in the ballpark. I love to just go in and enjoy a great baseball game, a great pitchers’ duel.
